Diffusion Filter

I here own a set of Black Supermist’s (1/8-1) and I must say that I haven’t used anything else other than these after my purchase.

They give a very nice softening to faces, smoothening out any sort of blemishes on faces and also gives a halation to sources of light (of course more halation comes with the higher densities). These filters also warms up the image ever so slightly and it creates this unique warm ambient glow to the frame as well.

I must say that there is no “perfect” density as I’ve used all densities for projects that vary in style and content. But if you were to get a set, which you should, 1/8-1/2 would be my bet.

The pouches that they come in are phenomenal. The magnetic closings? GENIUS.

Everything about their product screams QUALITY and I would highly recommend it over and over again.

These filter change everything use them all the time! Love them!

Black supermist for halation and softening skin, pearl for a warm glow. Like everything Tokina is making, these are excellent.

This Filter is amazing I'm really picky when it comes to filters on the front of my camera but in my testing before I put it on shoots I love how black Alchemy holds contrast and slightly adds halation to the highlights I love that I use 1/8 just to take the edge off looks really amazing on the vista 40mm its my go to with I shoot on mini LF or Sony Venice.
