JOSH FIELDS
Josh Fields is a San Francisco Bay Area based Director, DP, and Drone Operator. With his company Hatch 86 Films he shoots a variety of work including music videos, commercials, brand videos, and reality TV. He has worked on projects with Men’s Wearhouse, Bucked Up Whiskey, WWE, Toyota, Google, T-Mobile, Gold Bar Whiskey, Hockey Sauce Kit, Ambulnz, and many more.
Josh got his start shooting skateboard videos when he was 13 years old, that lends to his style which is sometimes run and gun. Josh finds the Tokina Cinema Zooms one of the best lens choices when it comes to shoots where the pace is faster and there’s not time for a lens swap. The 25-75mm has become his favorite and sometimes is the only lens used on an entire shoot.
Music videos are Josh’s biggest passion in production, he has emerged as one of the top directors and cinematographers in the Bay Area music scene working with the likes of E-40, Too Short, Mozzy, Andre Nickatina and Mistah Fab to name a few. He’s also extended his reach outside of the Bay working with major artists such as Lil Jon, Jackboy, Offset, Chanel West Coast, and Moonshine Bandits.
He's always been a fan of Tokina lenses and now that he owns a set of cinema zooms, he's fallen even more in love with them. He is excited to be part of this group of filmmakers as well as sharing why they are his go to lenses.
