Why do you want to be a Featured Artist:
My career as a film director started in North Carolina on the set of a music video. Although the project’s budget was low, the experience level of the crew certainly wasn’t. The DP and now good friend of mine pitched me on the idea of using his set of brand new lenses from Tokina. I honestly didn’t know what to expect and was a little nervous since I hadn’t seen many images from them yet. Now when I look back on that project, I call tell you that the images from that shoot are some of my best work. I was impressed with the image quality and versatility of the Tokina Vista Primes. They’re very sharp and clean, but take well to filtration and optical lens effects. You can use them for a high end commercial, or dirty them up for something like a music video. This, along with the wide sensor coverage make them a work-horse set of lenses I want in my arsenal. Like they say, “it’s versatility for the future”.
